Michael named John Branca and John McClain as executors of his estate and family trust in his 2002 will. They were given power over his affairs a few weeks after his death, even after challenges by Mrs Katherine Jackson, who is 79 years old.

As she has continued to challenge their power to make their day-to-day decisions without referring to the court for permissions, Mr Branca and Mr McClain have asked the judge to clarify the administration of the estate, and Mrs Jackson’s ability to challenge their decision-making power. The hearing will be formally held later this month.
