Michael v Marcel Trial Resumes

The Michael Jackson breach-of-contract trial resumed in a Santa Maria courtroom yesterday after a longer-than-intended holiday break.

Expected to return last week, the hearing was delayed due to Judge Zel Canter’s back injury.

The trial will take a break today Thursday, but continue on Friday January 17th.

However, it’s not known when, or whether, Michael will return to the stand, officials said.

German concert promoter Marcel Avram is suing Michael, claiming he backed out a deal to perform two millennium performances.
