Last night the Fox TV channel in America, aired a special on the Jackson Family, which emphasized the human elements of the most famous of musical families. The Jackson grandchildren took part, especially Marlon Jackson’s daughters Valencia and Brittany.
It would appear that the Jackson grandchildren are ready to continue the good name of the Jackson family, as one of Marlon’s daughters said; “Our generation of Jacksons are going to take over”.
Marlon’s daughter Valencia has aspirations to be the next Oprah Winfrey, and is studying for a communications degree. Katherine Jackson spoke about the hurtful remarks, which appear in the tabloid press and the affect they have on their grandchildrens’ lives. Joe Jackson said that he enjoyed seeing Michael being celebrated by a sea of fans, at his stadium concerts.

The programme celebrated the achievements of the Jackson Family and included interviews with people from the music industry, who were well-informed and objective. The programme did not dwell on Michael alone, but involved all eleven family members.

“Oh, it was excellent!!! Very positive! Went from Joe and Katherine to 3T. Yes, it about the whole family. This is a new series on Fox about famous family’s and how they become famous and how they deal with it.”
