Pop’s Royal Family Plan Reunion

During the disco era, The Jacksons were the third most successful disco group in the UK with 5 UK Disco Top ten hits, said Pete Waterman on the UK’s Channel 4 TV programme last night.

Michael was also a successful solo disco artist with ‘Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough’.

A viewer’s vote was conducted for the most successful group and the winners were The Bee Gees, who are currently on the crest of a wave here in the UK, following their ‘One Night Only’ gig at Wembley Stadium.

The programme included an interview with Jermaine Jackson, who said; “Things are in place and right now we are looking for the right chemistry. Those 12 or 14 songs which are going to shock the world. That’s the challenge!”

According to Jermaine the line up will include Michael and there will be a series of reunion concerts. Jermaine also said that the Jacksons may appear as ‘The Jackson 6’ if Randy joins them.

Referring to the ups and downs of his family’s lives and careers he added; “When they do good, I do good. When they do bad, it effects me too. We’ve got to pull for each other.”
