Darren Hayes & Brad Sundberg Discuss MJ

Recording artist & life-long MJ fan Darren Hayes was joined by Michael’s former studio technical director, Brad Sundberg for a fascinating chat on Blog Talk Radio!

“In our conversation Brad shares rare stories about the King of Pop and reveals a human and heartfelt glimpse into the extraordinary creative world of Michael Jackson,” says Hayes of the podcast.

“I take live callers who share their own unique connection to the King of Pop and we talk about his influence on pop culture and as a person of inspiration.”

Hayes engaged with Sundberg and his audience for over an hour, covering all facets of Michael Jackson’s illustrious career. Some of the opinions and perspectives raised by both Hayes and his callers during the podcast had me absolutely captivated – particularly Hayes’ description of seeing Michael live on stage during the ‘Bad’ World Tour at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in 1987:

“The way he moved on that stage was like a conductor of electricity. There were waves of hysteria – and he had an energy about him that was like looking into the eye of a tornado – and yet it was so calm. I was a fan and I was a student, and I just looked at the effect that he had on people and it was like he was conducting magic.”
