Ex Bodyguard Testifies

Michael La Perruque, a retired L A County Sheriff’s lieutenant who worked as Michael’s bodyguard, testified for a second day in the wrongful death trial.

Today, the jury was shown film shot at Universal Studios in 2001, which was an appearance by Michael at a Democratic fundraising event in 2002. They also were shown footage too from the American Bandstand anniversary, which also was of Michael and taken one month later.

La Perruque testified that he attended these events with Michael.

Footage was also shown of Michael’s cameo appearance in ‘Men In Black 2.′

When asked to explain the videos’ relevance, Jackson lawyers said AEG attorneys were arguing that Michael had not done any significant work since his ‘HIStory’ tour

The jury also saw a video deposition from an AEG financial consultant who said he helped the concert promoter prepare a contract for Conrad Murray.
