Diet Wiegman‘s beautiful puppets take twisted metal and rubbish, and combine them to make something wholly new and impossible to imitate.
An example from 2008, uses a rotating platform to swing back and forth before settling on Michael’s famous ‘Billie Jean’ era pose.
Among his other amazing work is ‘David Deformed,’ which recreates Michaelangelo’s David, a portrayal of a Dutch landscape, and ‘Greedy consumption,’ a map of the world made from junk reflected on a shiny plate.
You can see other remarkable examples of his work on his website.
