Lois Najarian, is the former Vice President of media for Epic Records. She founded ‘The Door’ in 2008, as an idea-based shop for creating projects for things fans would want as keepsakes for Michael, who was her first client, when she produced the special edition of ‘Thriller 25.’ After Michael passed away she worked with Sony on the release of ‘Michael’ in 2010, featuring music from his personal archive.
More recently, The Door has worked with Sony on PR for the 25th anniversary of Michael’s ‘Bad’ album. For the ‘Bad25’ project, The Door is managing all media strategy and outreach. It has secured TV programming with ABC and BET, added Jim Parham, VP of global marketing for Sony Music. He said the agency also worked with the press teams of Sony and ABC to develop the media plan for Spike Lee’s ‘Bad25’ documentary, which will air on the network on Thanksgiving night.
