Jennifer’s Workshop

Jennifer Batten is well known to Michael’s fans, as she played lead guitar on the ‘Bad,’ ‘Dangerous’ and ‘HIStory’ tours. On Saturday she led a multimedia workshop in Ranch Sante Fe for fans and aspiring musicians.

She played several of Michael’s songs, describing her techniques in detail. She was reported to be candid and a little quirky, and offered showbiz advice. She told stories about the time she spent on tour with Michael, and also with Jeff Back, another world renowned guitarist.

She went well over the scheduled two hours and made sure she answered all questions When the workshop was over she posed for photos and signed autographs.

The workshop was hosted by The Fine Tune Academy, a music school that caters to North County musicians and strives to provide access to big-name entertainers. Big Fish Studios provided the venue.
