Dozens of people gathered in Moundsville on Thursday night to practice for the flash mob dance of Michael’s ‘Thriller,’ which will be performed on Saturday, September 24th.
The flash mob is part of Moundsville’s first-ever ‘Zombie Walk,’ where hundreds are expected to walk the streets of the city dressed as zombies, then gather on the front lawn of the former penitentiary to perform the well-known dance.
Lori O’Neil, who is in charge of instructing the group, is encouraging everyone to come out to the Zombie Walk. Everyone who shows up to watch or participate is asked to bring at least one non-perishable food item which will be donated to a local food kitchen.
ne more practice will be held next Thursday, September 22nd at the Moundsville Center inside the former West Virginia Penitentiary after you enter through the North Wagon Gate.
Lori said she hopes to see thousands of zombies walking the streets on September 24th.
