Britney Wins MJ Award

The MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award has gone to some of music’s biggest and brightest pop stars, including Madonna, U2 and the Beastie Boys. Tonight, the esteemed honor went to the one and only Britney Spears.

The award, once called the Lifetime Achievement Award and later renamed in memory of the Michael, was presented by Joe Calderone.
