Cirque du Soleil announced twenty additional Las Vegas dates for its touring tribute to Michael on Wednesday, giving fans nearly an entire month to see what is expected to be the biggest draw on the Strip.
‘Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour,’ will be staged at the Mandalay Bay Events Center from Dec. 3-11, with performances from Dec. 13-27 just added to the schedule.
Tickets range from fifty to two hundred and fifty dollars and can be purchased by the general public on Saturday by calling Mandalay Bay at 702-632-7580 or Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. Tickets can also be purchased online.
The tribute to Michael’s life and musical legacy was announced last year, with rumours that after the world tour, the show could have a permanent residency on the Strip.
If that happens, it’s unlikely Mandalay Bay’s Events Center would be chosen, because the 12,000-seat venue is often reserved for concerts and awards shows. But there are plenty of other venues in Las Vegas which are big enough to take the show.
