Estate Faces Tax Claim

In March 2010, the California Franchise Tax Board, filed a claim on Michael’s Estate for one thousand, six hundred and forty-seven dollars and twenty-four cents!

However, that claim has now been amended to the sum of one hundred and thirty-one thousand, five hundred and forty-four dollars, because of interest and penalties, from the 2009 tax year.

Michael’s Estate will, of course, evaluate the claim before deciding whether or not to pay, as it does with all claims against the Estate.
