Good Time At The Docksider

Rusty Jackson (no relation to Michael) plans the entertainment for Saturday nights at the Erie Docksider. Veteran Erie R&B band  Familiar Spirit play the music of Earth, Wind and Fire, Maze, the Spinners, Stevie Wonder, Isley Brothers and the Average White Band.

The band leader Rusty Jackson always puts on a top notch show to a crowded club. He says; “The material that we play, most groups won’t even try to do because it’s as difficult as it is. The songs have very complicated and complex chord structures and sound. Not many groups would attempt to do that but, of course, we do.”

This Saturday however, Michael fans can expect a few MJ classics as a precursor to a full-fledged tribute to Michael Jackson (and the late Luther Vandross), which Rusty Jackson plans to present at some point in the future.
