‘This Is It’ Dancers In Liverpool

Two of the dancers Michael chose to join him on stage for his O2 concerts are to visit Liverpool, and will host a one-off dance workshop on Wednesday, June 9th.

The man behind Liverpool dance company, MD Productions, is bringing the stars from Michael’s ‘This Is It’ tour and film to the city. Nick Bass and Misha Gabriel Hamilton are superb dancers and have a wonderful history of dance with many stars in the music industry.

Choreographer Miguel Doforo, who set up MD Productions in 2001, said he wants to make sure all dancers aged 13 to 18 have the chance to take part.

“Bringing these world famous dancers to our city will provide Liverpool’s dancers with a chance of a lifetime,” he said. “The whole dance industry is inspired by Michael Jackson so to have these dancers in our home city is an unbelievable opportunity for the city’s dancers to train, learn and be inspired by the last dancers to work with Michael Jackson.

Miguel, from Childwall said of the project; “I want to let dancers know about this amazing opportunity to take part in classes with these top professionals, the whole package costs £45.”
