Tonya Brown’s son Dylan is eleven years old and is talented enough to earn himself a starring role in a stage show about Michael’s life, called ‘Man In The Mirror’.
He showed a remarkable talent from an extremely early age and his mother was often stunned by his ability to sing in key even as a baby. “I love to sing and I just have to dance,” Dylan says. “I love to entertain. And, sometimes, I just want the whole world to hear.”
When they recognised his talent, his parents did not want him to listen to Michael because of the bad press surrounding him, but after Michael’s death, Dylan began to copy his voice and dance moves.
An old friend in the music business saw some of Dylan’s You Tube videos, contacted his mother and the rest is history. ‘Man in the Mirror’ debuts Saturday, May 22nd at the 2,600 seat Palace Theatre in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Dylan will be one of six performers (the only one under the age of eighteen) playing Michael. He’ll sing a medley of six songs from the early Jackson 5.
