Coin Maker Sues Bravado

Bravado International Group Merchandising Services were paid $750,000 by First Commemorative Mint to be able to produce a Michael coin just two months after Michael passed away.

Bravado did not approve the design for the coin and now refuse to return the payment to FCM.

Bravado and Triumph International, which owns the rights to license Michael merchandise are now being sued in New York County Court by FCM for the return of the money, as they were unable to release the coin on its planned release date, which was to coincide with the first of Michael’s ‘This Is It’ shows.

Last month, First Commemorative said Bravado justified the delays by claiming Michael’s estate “did not want any commercials for merchandise,” which they say violates their agreement. They want their money back plus damages.
