More Fans Want To Thrill The World
Any fans wanting to join in the dancing on October 24th will have to learn all of Michael’s ‘Thriller’ moves before then. Thousands worldwide will perform the dance for the ‘Thrill The World Party on October 24th.
St. Petersburg expected about fifty dancers to sign up, but so far they have four hundred fans signed up to perform at 8.30pm at the Pier. Because so many have applied, registrations have had to be closed.
Thrill the World got its start in 2006 in Canada and last year drew 4,179 zombies from 10 countries. Since Michael’s death in June, interest has exploded, and more than 250,000 dancers are expected to take part this year. Florida has 1 sites.
Registration to dance in St. Petersburg’s Thrill the World event is closed, but people can be part of the audience or volunteer. A dance party and pub crawl will follow the dance at 8:30 p.m. at the Pier.
