Tribute Artists Announced

At a press conference in Vienna, Austria today, Jermaine Jackson announced the names of some of the artists who will appear at the tribute for Michael which will take place on September 26th.

Mary J.Blige, Natalie Cole, Sister Sledge will play at the concert and more names will be announced at press conferences in  London and Berlin over the next few days. Chris Brown, Akon, Angela Bassett, and Germany-based boy band US5 are among the other artists confirmed so far, along with the surviving members of the Jackson Five. At the tribute they’re all expected to play versions of Michael’s greatest hits.

Michael’s family and children will also be attending the show, along with an expected 65,000 fans.
