In a long interview with the UK tabloid Daily Mirror, Michael’s brother, Marlon Jackson, has spoken in depth about his views on Michael’s life and career.
He also spoke of Michael’s burial on September 3rd at the Glendale Forest Lawn Mausoleum, where his gold coffin will be encased in cement to prevent it being tampered with. He said that Michael’s children are writing goodbye notes to their father to be placed in the coffin and Aretha Franklin will sing at the private service, which will be held at 7p.m. The LAPD have warned fans not to try to attend the service, as they have no chance of getting anywhere near.
Marlon spoke emotionally about his own relationship with Prince, Paris and Blanket, and their future schooling, amongst other things. He publicised the Jacksons reality show which is to be televised soon, and thinks the brothers will get together to sing a tribute song for Michael in the future.
