Lee’s Party For Michael’s Birthday

Well known film director Spike Lee, who directed Michael’s short film ‘They Don’t Care About Us’ has planned a Block Party in Brooklyn, New York on August 29th to honour what would have been Michael’s 51st birthday.

Lee and “the great borough of Brooklyn” will take over Fort Greene park with “DJ Spinna… spinning all things Jackson, from the Jackson 5 to the Jacksons to Michael Jackson.”

Brooklyn borough president Marty Markowitz, who has already named June 30th “Spike Lee Day,” is set to declare August 29th “Michael Jackson Day.”
