Looking For A Young Michael

‘Thriller Live’ is a stage show based on the life and work of Michael Jackson, and has been touring internationally and at home here in the UK. The show is to open in the West End of London in January and the producers are currently looking for a young actor to play Michael on stage.

He will need to be between eleven and fifteen, black or mixed race, with “an excellent unbroken pop/rock voice with a high range”.

Singers will be required to perform ‘Ben’, ‘I Want You Back’, or ‘I’ll Be There’ at the auditions on November 23rd, 2008.

The casting session will take place the Lyric Theatre, which is where the production will be staged next year.

‘Thriller Live’ begins again on January 2nd and features hits such as ‘Can You Feel It’, ‘Rock With You’, ‘Beat It’, ‘ABC’ and ‘Billie Jean’.
