65 Cities in 9 countries united in Thrill the World’s attempt to break world record for Largest Simultaneous Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” Dance
Los Angeles, CA – Over 3,933 people around the world participated Thrill the World, a worldwide attempt to break the World Record for the Largest Simultaneous Thriller Dance on Saturday/Sunday, October 25/26, 2008. Last year, 1,722 people simultaneously performed the dance in 55 cities around the globe.
Thrill the World Creator & Director Ines Markeljevic kicked off the countdown with the Los Angeles team performing at Hollywood & Highland Center in Los Angeles, with special guest Adam Sevani.
“We want to connect the world by sharing the joy of dance, the celebration of community and the passion for living,” said Markeljevic. “I believe we did just that today.”
Most of Thrill the World participants have no prior dance experience, Thriller or otherwise, until they attend workshops and rehearsals put on by Thrill the World teams, or learn from free online tutorial videos produced by Markeljevic.
“Our hope is that by you witnessing or being a part of Thrill the World, you will see for yourself that any dream, vision, idea, passion you have can be realized,” said Markeljevic.
Miss Ines Markeljevic will be in the Los Angeles area until November 4, 2008. If you would like to schedule an interview or television appearance, please contact:
