Grammy 2008 Hall Of Fame Inductees

Grammy.com has announced their inductees to their Hall Of Fame for 2008 and Michael is included with two of his albums ‘Off the Wall’ and ‘Thriller’.

To qualify for this honour a piece of music from any genre, be it Rock, Pop, Jazz, Opera, Classical, Country, or any other musical piece, must be at least twenty-five years old.

The current Hall Of Fame consists of 798 titles but in 2008 another 70 pieces of music will be added which spotlight masterpieces that have impacted on America’s musical history. New submissions are chosen annually by a special member committee of experts and historians drawn from all branches of the recording arts.

Sixteen of the new entries will come from the classical genre, including pieces by Liszt, Beethoven and Toscanini, there is also a film score which includes many popular pieces from the Beatles, Willie Nelson, Barbra Streisand, Sinatra and many others.
