Bahrain Grand Prix Thriller

Sanjay and Zarine Khan, popular members of the Indian film world, flew to Bahrain last weekend, as guests of a Bahraini businessman, Mohammad Dadabhai, to attend the Grand Prix.

They met Prince Andrew, King Abdullah 11 and Queen Raina of Jordan, and also many of the world’s elite, who are fellow motor racing enthusiasts.

Mrs. Zarine Khan was excited to be present among so many famous people, and even more so when she spotted Michael Jackson. Their host introduced them to Michael, explaining that they were from the Indian film world, and Michael, also excited, happily spent more than ten minutes talking to them.

Mrs Khan said later that Michael; “is very sweet, and looks very gentle and docile”. She told him that she was a huge fan and had seen him perform in Mumbai, adding that he is a brilliant performer and artist.

She invited him to go to Mumbai, and he said that he would like to do that, so they gave him their card. She was very pleased when Michael asked for a photograph to be taken with them.

Asked later if she had met Michael Schumacher, the racing driver, and said; “Oh, after I met MJ, that was it!”
