This Is Not Our Time

The latest Lauryn Hill rumour is false. She won’t be teaming with Michael on a millennium single. There’s nothing like the Internet for spreading baseless, silly rumours, and ‘BLAZE’ magazine’s online news site recently fuelled a juicy one when it reported that Michael and Lauryn Hill were teaming up to record ‘a millennium single called ‘This Is Our Time.’

That’s apparently news to Lauryn Hill. ”Lauryn has not been approached by Michael about working on any such song,” says a Hill spokesperson, who adds that his office has been bombarded with calls about the mythical project.

Michael’s rep, Bob Jones, was similarly mystified; ”I don’t know anything about it.”
