Some of the Beatles songs bought by Michael after the Beatles catalogue was put up for sale by auction will revert back to McCartney because of US copyright law.
Martin Bandier, CEO of Sony/ATV, has hinted that talks to get the Beatles songs onto iTunes store are closer to being finalised.
Sources are reporting a deal by iTunes to include the songs from the Beatles catalogue, owned jointly by Sony/ATV and Michael.
