Biopic Delays, but Others Projects Still in the Works

Michael Jackson fans eagerly awaiting updates on the upcoming biopic will need to remain patient a little longer. In a new message to fans, the Michael Jackson Estate has acknowledged growing frustration about the lack of official news surrounding the highly anticipated film—but offered reassurance that updates will come as soon as the movie studio is ready to share them.

“Just like you, the Online Team continues to ask for information on the film,” the Estate shared, noting that the studio behind the production controls the release of all updates and promotional assets.

“Once they do provide information, we will be sharing it with you!”

While the silence has been disappointing for many, the Estate is urging fans to take comfort in Michael’s own creative process. “Michael could not be rushed when it came to his art,” the statement read, “and the results were always worth the wait.” The team expressed optimism that the extra time and effort being put into the film will result in a final product that lives up to Michael’s legacy.

The delays have also had a ripple effect on other exciting projects. The Estate confirmed that plans for long-awaited documentaries about the Dangerous and HIStory eras—as well as additional initiatives—have been paused until after the biopic’s release.

For now, the message is clear: patience is difficult—but just like Michael’s artistry, the wait may well be worth it.
