Maxwell Performs ‘The Lady In My Life’

At the 2022 Billboard Music Awards tonight, Grammy award winning artist Maxwell performed Michael’s heart wrenching ‘The Lady In My Life‘ to celebrate 40 years of the ‘Thriller’ album.

Entering the stage similar to the opening of ‘Rock With You,’ Maxwell’s silhouette was seen as smoke filled behind him. He walked out wearing a glitter jacket, gloves and tie, along with black trousers and silver shoes. All the sequins were a great homage to the King of Pop.

He went on to perform the love ballad, which is the final track of the biggest selling album of all time. As he ended the performance he shouted “We love you Michael Jackson!” to screams and applause from the audience.
