The amazing ‘Thriller Live’ show has been running at the Lyric Theatre in London for more than ten years, but due to theatre refurbishment, the show will be shutting it’s doors in April next year. Here is a statement on the closure from Adrian Grant;
“It is with some sadness that this evening it has been announced that THRILLER LIVE’s run at the Lyric will be coming to an end on the 26th April 2020, due to a major refurbishment of the entire theatre starting next May.
The Thriller Live family have been grateful to have had such a wonderful home for over 10-years in the heart of London’s West End which has seen the show break numerous records, playing to millions of people of all ages, races and cultures whom have enjoyed Michael Jackson’s music, dance and inspiring messages of peace and world betterment.
We would like to thank theatre owners Nimax and their staff for being such great hosts since January 2009. In the meantime we will be looking for a new home in the West End where we can create more magical memories, as well as embarking on a World Tour starting in Switzerland from the 27th December.
Until then, if you haven’t seen the West End show, make sure you book tickets before it closes at the Lyric… Don’t Stop Til’ You get Enough!
