Paul Smidt, who is a teacher at a primary school in the Netherlands and a long-time Michael Jackson fan, decided to pay tribute Michael Jackson by teaching the ‘Thriller’ dance to seventy children from two neighbouring schools.
His efforts and the hard work paid off at the beginning of the month whilst celebrating their 40th anniversary, they turned one of their playgrounds into a zombie zone as the children danced to Michael’s ‘Thriller.’ They also ended their performance with a moving sing-along to ‘We Are The World.’
Hundreds of parents, brothers, sisters, grandfathers and grandmothers came along to watch this beautiful collaboration by the two schools.
