Please read the following description of the Expedition and its purpose:
FOR WIMBLEDON EDGE HILL EXPLORER SCOUT UNIT ( WEESU )
( Registered with the Charity Commission 1036432 )
NEPAL EXPEDITION JULY 2013
WEESU aims to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical intellectual social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. Explorer scouts aged between 16 and 18 will spend two weeks in Bandipur constructing and renovating school buildings for a poor community. The young people pay their own travel costs and organize both group and individual fundraising events. Money raised funds the building project and subsidizes the cost of the expedition to allow all Explorers to participate, not just those from affluent families. The Explorers benefit greatly from the experience and make a practical, lasting contribution to disadvantaged communities in Nepal. A short film of the work done in the last expedition to Nepal in 2010 can be seen here:
We hope to raise £500 ( around $800 ), excluding delivery costs. All proceeds will go to WEESU.
The Opus is in pristine condition in the original box, with unused gloves. The wrapping paper seal has been broken but the book has not been removed from the box. This monumental 404-page definitive book, including many rare and previously unpublished images, by some of the world’s foremost photographers, plus the personal remembrances of the people who knew Michael best and were inspired by his work is now sold out and rarely available in such mint condition. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity to acquire the Official Michael Jackson Opus and support young people and poor communities in Nepal, please email your bid by 1st December to: firstname.lastname@example.org
