Fire-eaters and a team of twenty dancers from Revue Studios performed the famous 1983 ‘Thriller’ routine, while radio stations Swansea Sound and The Wave were on hand to join the fun. Everybody involved was totally committed to the performance.
Revue Studios choreographer Jessica Phillips said,
“It was fantastic. It was absolutely out of this world. Everybody really embraced it and got into the spirit of what we were doing and gave us so much support. We had the first performance earlier on in the night and it really went well and by the time the second one came around there was an unbelievable crowd there watching.”
Speaking before the performance, dancer Sophie Burgess, 19, of Pontarddulais, who was chosen to be part of the Revue Studios troupe after auditions, said,
“It is such a different experience from what we’ve done before. It is an exciting opportunity and ‘Thriller’ is such a crowd-pleaser so it will be good to see people join in.”
