“Michael Saved My Life”

Janet Jackson’s ex-husband, James Debarge, has credited his former brother-in-law Michael, with saving him from suicide.

The DeBarge singer reveals he once considered jumping to his death from the roof of Michael’s home, but Michael talked him down.

Appearing on U.S. TV show Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers, the R&B star recalls; “I was going to jump and everyone was losing it…He was the only one not freaking out! He seemed to be familiar with my pain…He knew I needed someone to talk to, so he was that ear. We just talked all night and I forgot that I was even on the roof and that I was going to jump.”
