Thriller Live Auditions

Scotland’s ‘Evening Times’ is reporting that ‘Thriller Live’ will be performing in Glasgow later this month and they are looking for young stars to take on the role of Michael in the production for their world tour.

‘Thriller Live’ which will be in Glasgow later this month, will hold open auditions for the show, which features more than two hours of Michael’s songs.

Producers want to cast adults as well as young performers for the show’s world tour and while children in the show need to be black, African-American or of mixed heritage and aged 11-15 to play the young Michael, adult singers can be any race – and even women can apply. The playing age of the role is 18-25 and performers must be able to sing like Michael.

Male dancers are also needed and must be black, African-American or mixed heritage and be able to dance like Michael.

The auditions will be held on Tuesday, November 23rd at the King’s Theatre, where the show is on from November 22nd – 27th

Hopefuls should take a passport photo and CV including details of performing experience and prepare a Jackson song.

Adults should register at 2.00p.m. and boys at 4.00p.m.

‘Thriller Live’ was first performed in 2006. It has toured the UK and Europe and has been resident in London’s West End.
