A three judge panel of the California Second District Court of Appeal heard arguments from Brian Oxman, speaking for Mr Joe Jackson, and from Howard Weitzman, representing the administrators of Michael’s Estate.
The appeals panel did not issue a ruling but did question the legal steps JMr Jackson had taken after being left out of his son’s will and whether the moves warranted revisiting the challenge to the administrators.
Many probing question were put to Oxman by the judges. Oxman had failed to inform the Court of Appeal of several relevant points, facts for which he apologised.
