‘Thriller’ Ron Artest

For one season Ron Artest wore the Number 37 shirt for his basketball team, the Los Angeles Lakers. When asked why hw word the number, he explained that he was a great Michael fan and chose that number because ‘Thriller’ was number one on the album charts for 37 straight weeks and Lakers fans got to know him as ‘Thriller Ron.’ Now Ron wears the Number15 shirt, so ‘Thriller Ron’ is a ‘Thriller’ no more however, Ron and MJ Matt Schaffer have put together a video to be shown at the NBA Finals in the spring.
