VH1’s Top 100 Music Artists Of All Time

On Monday, September 6th, VH1 personality Jim Shearer will begin the countdown of the ‘Top 100 Music Artists Of All Time,’ and the result is bound to be controversial. This list will produce the “greatest of the great” in music and will cover most of the popular music genres. The result has been determined by a poll of well known music artists and experts, and over two-hundred artists have voted for their favourite.

A previous vote in 1998 placed Michael in 40th place, but this list shows him in the top 5. The other top 5 artists include the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones.
