Politician Can’t Use ‘Beat It’

Lindolfo Pires is standing as a candidate in the North Eastern Brazil State Legislative Elections.  A friend of his linked Michael’s song ‘Beat It’ to his campaign to give it a lighthearted touch. He was surprised when Sony Music, the copyright holder of the song, then obtained a court order barring him from using it, as he did not have their authorization.
