Red Bull MJ Memorial

Jeremy Leal, graduated from Oklahoma University and now is employed at Red Bull. Wanting to contribute to his company’s ‘Art of Can’ exhibit — an international art show that features artwork inspired by the Red Bull can from artists across America, Jeremy decided to submit a work of his own, anonymously, to test the merit of his piece.

His inspiration came when he made an acrylic drawing of Michael on black velvet canvas. He created a jacket for Michael made of stars punched out of Red Bull cans and spent fifty hours perfecting it. Titled ‘The Killing,’ he was pleased with his creation and delighted when it was chosen for the ‘Art Of Can’ exhibit in his hometown of Dallas.

Several selected pieces from Red Bull’s ‘Art of Can’ exhibit in Dallas, including Leal’s,  are on display for one night from 7.00 to 10.00 p.m. Friday, in Oklahoma City. Allied Arts is hosting the event on the recently finished rooftop patio of the building that houses their offices, 1015 N. Broadway Avenue
