Gardner Street Reminder

Many fans know that Michael attended Gardner Street Elementary School in Los Angeles for a short time. Because he had donated funds to the school’s music department, the auditorium was dedicated to him and his name was placed over the entrance. During the allegations his name was covered up, and even though he was completely exonerated, the covering has never been removed.

There is a group of fans now campaigning to have his name restored to the building. The group has 8,200 signatures supporting it, and would of course like all fans to join the campaign. If you would like more information, please click here.

The leaders of this group are being refused a meeting from the superintendent at this point, yet they are not discouraged, they are determined and strong. They need more letters requesting that the boards covering Michael’s name be removed.

Letters can be sent to: MJFAM@groupmail.com, for the attention of Superintendant Ramon C. Cortines.
