New Documentary to Debut in Japan

Marc Schaffel has now decided to release a documentary film from private footage he has taken of Michael in 2003. The footage includes when Michael visited Gary and was greeted by an outpouring of love from his fans and family. Other footage showed Michael at a family birthday party at Neverland and also backstage at the Orpheum Theatre, Los Angeles when fans threw Michael a 45th birthday party.

‘Michael Jackson: Inside the Private World’ is the latest, but surely not the last, documentary to probe Michael’s private moments in the years before his life ended abruptly in June 2009.

Lawyers for Sony have sent the Schaffel a letter questioning whether any of the footage might impinge on their intellectual property.

The documentary will open in two hundred theaters in Tokyo on June 25th.
