Pastor Preaches Michael

In Sacramento this weekend, Pastor Ron Vanderwel of The Gathering Church will use the work of Michael to help him deliver his message to his congregation. He features Michael’s words, music and videos during his sermons. “We’ll show how his songs have the hope the Bible offers,” the pastor said. The 10 a.m. service is open to the public and meets at the Regal Cinemas in the Natomas Marketplace in Sacramento.

The Reverend was moved by the outpouring of love for Michael after his death in June and thought that the passion in his songs reflected the messages in the Bible that people connect to.
“You and I must make a pact
We must bring salvation back
Where there is love, I’ll be there.”
“His words reflect the ache every one of us has for something better,” Vanderwell added.
