In an interview with BBC television, Robert Lindsay spoke of meeting Michael and discussing mime artists with him. Michael told Robert that he loved to watch mimes, so Robert showed him how he had learned to “walk against the wind”. He demonstrated how it was done, and jokingly suggested that Michael had based his iconic ‘Moonwalk’ on his example.
