Oprah & Whitney Discuss Michael

Whitney Houston had been friends with Michael and his family for many years and she was recently interviewed by Oprah Winfrey. Whitney spoke from the heart about how close they were as friends, and how much she cared for him and his whole family. She said that her and Michael spoke regularly by telephone during his trial in 2005, but Michael did not want her to see him.

When asked about Michael’s death Whitney said it was; “Devastating”. She added; “I have so many good memories of spending time with him. I’ve known his family for so many years that I thought, ‘It can’t be true. I knew he was on painkillers at one time … I didn’t know how far and how deep it was.”
