Motown’s newest Michael Jackson project is entitled ‘Michael Jackson: The Remix Suites 1 – V’ which are due by October 27th.

The first instalment was put out to digital retailers on Tuesday, with the second and third instalments “in preparation.”

DJs Frankie Knuckles as mixed ‘Forever Came Today’ and David Morales ‘I Want You Back’. Paul Oakenfold and Steve Aoki both remix ‘Dancing Machine’ and disco don Dimitri from Paris remixes ‘I Want You Back’.

Suite III will be available on September 22 and boasts a line-up of some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B. Akon has remixed ‘Ben’, producer No ID contributes a version of ‘Who’s Lovin’ You’ and Benny Blanco takes on ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’. Producers Emile Haynie has remixed ‘Maria’ and Sturken & Rogers ‘Maybe Tomorrow’.

The just-released Suite I features remixes of Jackson 5 classics like ‘ABC’.

According to a spokesperson for Universal Motown, there will be five Remix Suites released in total, featuring work by artists like Swizz Beatz, Q-Tip and Rodney Jerkins. All five will then be collected in a physical album called, appropriately enough, ‘Michael Jackson: The Remix Suites I-V’ which is due to be issued on October 27th.
