Michael Calls Rio Ferdinand

Rio Ferdinand, who plays football (soccer) for England’s Manchester United, has just issued his first edition of a personal on-line magazine entitled ‘5’ which is his player number.

A friend of his works for Michael in the UK and he has told Michael about Rio so imagine his surprise when Michael telephoned him to congratulate him on his new venture.

As a long-time fan of Michael’s work, he was, of course, delighted to speak to Michael, who invited him to see one of his concerts, and arranged a meeting backstage after the show.

Rio has sent messages to all his friends to tell them that he had spoken to Michael.

He also and added that he would include the ‘Bad’ album as one of his potential Desert Island Discs.
