Michael’s Lawyers Settle Lawsuit
Michael’s lawyers have reached a settlement with Sheik Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who claimed Michael owed him seven million dollars.
The settlement was reached just prior to Michael getting on a flight to London and means that he will not be appearing in the London High Court today.
Celena Aponte, a spokesperson for Michael said; “As Mr. Jackson was about to board his plane to London, he was advised by his legal team to postpone his travels since the parties had concluded a settlement in principle. Therefore, he will not be attending court on Monday.”
In the anticipation of Michael attending and giving evidence, the Court unusually began issuing tickets to the media who all wanted to attend the hearing today.
