Bahrain Court Case Update

In today’s hearing in the High Court in London, Sheikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain’s lawyers itemized some of the Sheik’s expenditure on Michael’s behalf.

Michael’s representative stated that Michael’s doctor’s say that he has a medical condition and is unable to travel to London to give evidence in the case, and asks to be allowed to do so by video link from the US.

The Judge is expected to give his judgment on this aspect of the case on Thursday.

Sheikh Abdulla says that he gave Michael money as an advance for an album and an autobiography that never materialized.

Michael says that any money given to him was a gift and the details of the business were never finalised.

The Court is not in session on Wednesday, November 19th.
