A picture of Michael performing ‘Beat It’ during the ‘Bad’ world tour appears on a new Pepsi can for the soft drink’s #PepsiGenerations campaign this summer.
The King of Pop appears alongside similar retro designs featuring Pepsi-affiliated artists Ray Charles and Britney Spears. The campaign shows Pepsi’s biggest pop culture moments over the years, which started with an advert during this years Super Bowl. In the ad, a snippet of the Pepsi commercial Michael made in the late 1980’s was seen.
Michael began appearing in Pepsi spots in 1984 alongside his brothers.
